Services Available:

Health check ups, family planning, cervical smears, pregnancy tests, vaccinations, liquid nitrogen freezing therapy, ecg, spirometry, asthma and diabetes clinics, weight loss management, accident care, skin lesion excision, smoking cessation, drug testing and skin checks.

Suggestions:

We encourage comments from you so that we can continue to improve our service. There is a suggestion box in the reception area.

Fees and Billing Arrangements:

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash or Eftpos.  If you have difficulty paying our fees please discuss this with us.

Repeat Prescriptions:

If you require a repeat prescription please contact the receptionist with your request, which we will endeavour to action within 24 hours.  Some clinical conditions will require a doctor’s appointment before repeats will be given.

Reminder System:

Our practice is committed to preventive care.  We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate to your care.  If you do not wish to be part of this system please let us know at reception.  Could you please let us know if any of your contact details change e.g. phone number, new address etc.

Please do not reply to any TXT Messages that we may send to you.

Management of your Test Results:

It is our policy to contact patients with abnormal results.  If you wish to be contacted for a result notify us when you are referred for the test, or you may telephone us for the result.  Unless we have prior written consent, results will only be given to the patient.  You may like to join Manage My Health where you can go online to view results or make appointments.  Please enquire with your GP or at Reception.

Management of your Personal Health Information:

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Your Rights:

In providing a quality health service this practice complies with the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights.  If you feel your rights have been breached please let us know, we welcome any opportunity to improve our standard of service and uncover any problems.  You may add a comment to our suggestion box or make a complaint verbally or in writing, alternatively should you feel unable to do so, you may have the support of an independent advocate from the Health and Disability Commissioners office by phoning 0800 112233.  For more information about our complaints process please ask any member of staff.
